Total Quality Management - MG 428

Course Objectives

Worldwide, quality management is mandatory in most of the manufacturing sectors,
but now it is also present in many service sectors. The class material will include both theory
and practical application of Quality Management in organizations.
Quality Management is the study of how organizations can consistently improve their processes,
products and services in order to enhance customers' satisfaction and decrease
the cost of errors through specific tools. At the completion of this course,
the students will have studied the major topic areas within the field of quality management
and the challenges and opportunities for managers as they seek to apply
quality management principles within organizations.
